Car Gas Point
CNG Tank Testing ProcessAs per government regulations, CNG tanks must be tested for safety every three years.
Note: Use all CNG from the tank and leave the car with us for a day. Usually it is Same Day Delivery Process
1. You are required to drop the car in our workshop for a day. We remove the CNG tank and send it for hydro testing to the plant.

Type IV CNG Cylinders
Car Gas Point exclusively entered into a contract with Hexagon Agility Group for research and development for use of Type IV cylinders in October 2020.
The safe use of these cylinders was top priority. Closely working with the Hexagon team we achieved the pilot project to be 100% successful.
BSIV cars fitted with special custom made cylinder brackets installed in the boot of the cars were used to hold the light weight carbon fibre cylinders.
These cylinders are used in EU markets for OEMS and were introduced in India.
We are proud to say the first carbon fibre Type IV cylinder in India was fitted by our specialist team including Hitesh Adwani at Car Gas Point.

Autogas CNG for BSVI cars in India
Retrofitment of BS6 cars in India to Autogas CNG will soon be possible.
Technically, we could fit the kits, but the legal aspect was awaiting approvals from the authorities of the Goverment of India.
MoRTH (Ministry of Road Transport and Highways) has issued a proposal to allow BS6 cars to be retro-fitted with CNG kits
As per the gazette published, if your car is registered after 30 March 2020, it falls under BS6 category and needs to undergo the legal process for the same to be retrofitted to CNG.
When the approvals are given, they will be valid for three years and a review will be conducted for continuation.
As of now, the Road Transport Office (RTO) is awaiting the approvals to come into effect.
